Bowness Bay Blues

The Hole in t’ Wall has just participated in the Bowness Bay Blues weekend by hosting 2 wonderful live acts.

What a great event for music lovers! Bowness-on-Windermere has hosted this festival for 3 years now, multiple venues throughout the town have grown to offer a great quality line up.

We had a very busy weekend at The Hole in t’ Wall and didn’t manage to watch many of the other performances but from all accounts all the artists and venues were well supported at this years sell out festival.  The event provided something for everyone, with money raised going to worthy causes.

Bring on next year!

Elderly Brothers

The Elderly Brothers were the first of our 2 acts to perform. The Elderly Brothers have an enthusiastic local following and perform regularly to packed houses throughout the Lake District. Playing an eclectic mix of old and new, they are equally at home with soft ballads and hard rock blues. They hail from Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside.

This year, as well as playing their usual Sunday spot at Bowness Bay Blues in the Hole int’ Wall, they played at The Lake District Boat Club on Saturday.

Give them a follow on Facebook to keep up to date.
